Where did my file go?

When your file is downloaded in is in most cases in you "Downloads folder"

That is if you haven't changed your downloads settings or changed the location

when you started downloading.

Ok, so I found it. Where do I put it?

When you have found it, open "My documents" on your computer. Go to "Electronics Art" and then "Mods".

Is the file in a zip or rar file? The you need to extract it. Is it in a package file format? Then you're ready to take to file from your "Downloads" folder and drag and drop or cut and paste it into the "Mods" folder.

You're done!

That wasn't so hard, was it?

What is this resource.cfg file I see in my Mods folder?

The resource.cfg is a file that enables the use of third party content.

So without that, no more mods for you

Oh my God! I deleted my resource.cfg!

No worries. The game will generate a new one when you restart the game

04

How do I find the content in game?

All of my cc shows up as a new item in CAS, wardrobe and mirror if nothing else is said.

I do NOT make any default replacements at all so you don't have to worry that installing my content will replace anything else. I don't like that.

How to Download

When you find something you want to download just press the Downloads button.

A new window will open with the specific download you want.

In that new window you'll have two choises.

Either you press "Download to your computer"

or "Download to Cloud Drive"

If you want to get the file emidiatly you click the "Download to your computer"

If you want to save it on the cloud (maybe you're at work, cc hunting, and want to install the file

on your computer at home) then you'll click the "Download to Cloud Drive" button

How do I download?

You download by clicking the Downloads button under the picture on the Download pages.

If there is several parts in a download you'll have two choices.

Either you press the Downloads button and get the hole set. If so, you get the file in a zip file and you will need to unzip them to get the packages.

If you don't want to unzip the file (or don't have the program) you can click the small images under the Downloads button and get the parts of the set separetly.

If you can't tell from the small pictures, I always start from head and go down. So the first picture is the hat (if there is one) and then top and then pants.

What happends next?

You download will start in a new page because surely you're gonna download more than one item?

The new page takes you to Mega.

There you will have two choices.

You can press "Download to your computer" if you want to get the file at once.

Or you can press "Import to your Cloud Drive" if you have an account and want to save it for later.

Maybe you're cc hunting at work and want to get the file when you get home?

Where did my file go?

In most cases you file ends up in the same location as anything else you download from the internet. It's usually called "Downloads" if you havn't changed the location yourself.

If you have downloaded a hole set, the file will be in a zip, and you will need to extract that. If you don't have that program or don't want to install it you can take home a set by clicking all the small images, then you'll get them in package format.

A single download from my site always comes in package format and you don't have to do anything with that file. It's ready  to the be moved!

But where do I put it?

You put the package file here:

My Document/Electronic Art/Sims 4/ Mods

And then what?

That's it, you're ready to play!

Now that wasn't so hard, was it?
